Garnwerd aan Zee is a versatile waterside hospitality venue in the province of Groningen. The restaurant and terraces offer space for lunch and dinner, as well as for weddings, parties, events and meetings. With its own harbour and a range of function rooms, the venue is suitable for a wide variety of gatherings, from intimate dinners to large-scale parties.
Cooperation is at the heart of the team. We work professionally in an informal atmosphere, with a focus on quality and hospitality.
What will you be doing as a Floor Manager?
As a floor manager, you are responsible for managing operations on the floor. You maintain an overview during service, weddings and parties, and ensure that everything runs to plan. You are the point of contact for clients, suppliers and guests, and liaise with the kitchen and front-of-house staff as required.
During events, you will coordinate the team, manage staff and ensure a calm and organised atmosphere at busy times. You will oversee quality, service and presentation, and step in where necessary. Thanks to your experience, you are able to think ahead and identify potential issues in good time.
Although the focus is on leadership, you step in when the situation calls for it.
