Situated on the standing mast route between Groningen and Lauwersoog, many sailing yachts pass by Garnwerd. The Reitdiep sees around 7,500 vessels passing through each year, making it a dynamic and lively route. The Garnwerd aan Zee marina is therefore a unique stopover on the way to the Frisian lakes or the Wadden Sea.
Garnwerd aan Zee has a new marina with all the facilities you would expect from a modern marina. All berths are equipped with a wide side jetty and a 16-amp electricity supply.
There is a toilet block with showers, toilets and a launderette at the harbour.
In addition, Garnwerd aan Zee offers a number of extra amenities from the restaurant to make your stay with us in the harbour even more enjoyable.
