With the variety of spaces we offer, there’s a suitable setting for every group. Using an adjustable, soundproof partition, we can divide the restaurant into three sections: the so-called ‘Harbour Rooms’. This means you’ll always be seated comfortably and have a private space.

Our latest addition is a stylish stretch marquee on the rear terrace, right by the water’s edge. This beautiful tent is fully equipped: think of an outdoor bar, lighting, heating, and completely Ibiza-inspired furniture. It’s ideal for a cosy barbecue or family party, bringing the ‘Garnwerd aan Zee’ experience even closer to life.

Our lounge terrace is also available for parties and events. On fine days, we slide open the glass front, so that the private room inside opens onto the lounge terrace. This makes the indoor space feel like an extension of the outdoors, and vice versa.

How do I organize a party at Garnwerd aan Zee?

The first step is to get in touch: by phone, email or feel free to pop in. We’ll discuss your requirements and, together, choose a room or table that suits your group. Based on that, we’ll draw up a quote; a week later, we’ll go through it and finalise the arrangements. Quotes aren’t set in stone: you can still make changes up to five days before the event.

Once you’ve chosen Garnwerd aan Zee, we’ll help you organise your big day. Would you like a DJ, a cake maker, a florist, illuminated lettering or a photographer? Garnwerd aan Zee has reliable partners for every aspect who can take all the hassle out of your big day. You’ll also receive tips in advance to help you anticipate any questions and potential hiccups on the day itself.

What does the day look like?

After a warm welcome with a cup of coffee or tea, or a welcome drink, the day can continue with a relaxed drinks reception or move straight on to dinner. After dinner, Garnwerd aan Zee will set everything up for the party and the DJ can get the party started. Treat yourself to the variety of canapés and late-night snacks that Garnwerd aan Zee has to offer during the party, and round off the day with an overnight stay on the water in one of our six tiny boat cottages to make the experience complete.

Each event has a designated coordinator who is on hand for you throughout the day and knows all the details, so that everything runs smoothly.
