Marina Rules

Garnwerd aan Zee has marina facilities on the restaurant side of the bridge. It is a popular stopping-off point for boaters travelling to and from Groningen, the Lauwersmeer or the Wadden Sea. It is a lovely, peaceful spot to relax in this historic setting. The Reitdiep has a fixed mast passage through the city of Groningen. The marina on the east side of the bridge is brand new and superbly equipped. With a variety of activities throughout the year, it’s a wonderful place for young and old alike to moor. In short, with us, you’re on the right course!

Visitor moorings summer and winter

• €2.00 per meter (including water, electricity and Wi-Fi)
• After 15 October, the toilet facilities and water tap will be closed.

Additional service

• Mooring fees: €2.00 per meter (including water, electricity and Wi-Fi)

• Shower tokens €1.50

• Use of washing machine €6.00

• Use of tumble dryer €4.00

Permanent moorings summer and winter

There are berths available for permanent moorings in the marina. In the summer, the Garnwerd is an excellent base from which to explore Groningen and the Lauwersmeer. During the winter months, the boat is moored in our marina, where it is quiet and sheltered.
